"Mushroom-growing cellar" Maciej i Władysław Gaweł is a small firm situated in Glogów Młp. (Województwo Podkarpackie).
The production of mushrooms in our possesion we began in 1982 on a surface of about 180 m2. Nowadays, the producing of mushrooms is managed on a surface of 1360 m2 of cultivated soil, that allows us to achieve 220 tons of fresh mushrooms yearly. Subsoil and peaty covering on the soil come from admitted in the market specialistic Polish firms. Our customers are: processing plants (50%), warehouses and shops (40%) and 10% of our production is destined for export. The motto of our firm is the ecological production of high-quality mushrooms.
The necessary warm energy comes from combustion of biomass and natural gas and that's why the production of mushrooms has become amicable to the environment (no smoke).
